Need a Rental Property? Work with ONE Real Estate Agent

Updated: Jan 26

There you are, spending lots of time on Zillow or any other home site, looking for a rental. Then you call the number listed, or request a viewing on the form, and ...

CRICKETS.

It's frustrating, time consuming, and often, by the time someone does get back to you, the property is no longer available.

That's why you should consider working with ONE real estate agent to help you find your next home. We have access to all the properties offered through our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and can make your search significantly easier.

Here's what to know when enlisting the help of a real estate professional.

HOW DO REAL ESTATE AGENTS GET PAID?

In most cases, agents do not get paid unless you lease a property that they have shown to you. Some agents will charge a fee directly to the renter for their services to offset their costs, in case the renter finds another property on their own. Others, like myself, do not charge a fee to the renter. The property manager pays me a referral fee ONLY if you have leased a place that I have shown you. An agent that knows you are committed will work hard to help you find the right place.

WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE OF WORKING WITH ONE AGENT?

Working with one agent, you can schedule showings of multiple properties in one outing. The agent will also confirm availability of the properties, provide you with details on all the associated costs, qualifications to rent, and the application process. It's a much simpler process.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

You contact me! First, fill out my rental questionnaire so I have a good understanding of your wants and needs. I will reach out and setup a search for you, or you can download my app for your phone. You can do your own searches, choose your favorites, and then we can schedule to view properties.

That's it. Give me a call/text if you prefer not to fill out the form. Let's work together to make your rental search a great experience.
